This Acoma canteen has an interesting, egg like shape that elevates the whole design to a taller than wider form. The mid point separates the upper design from the lower orange slipped base. The spout points at an angle upward, and the two adjacent handles are three braided clay pieces. The upper design is divided into four parts, sets of two that are opposite to each other. The base is flatten so that the canteen sits slightly back, so that the spout and handles are prominent. There is no signature.
