This is a very finely carved Christo out of wood, likely boxwood, and set inside a frame. It dates to circa 17th to 18th century and is Flemish. It comes from a private collection in Holland. The Christo is in a custom, very well made, gold gilded box and the Christo is set with nails through the red velvet board through both hands and the paired feet. The box as well as the Christo are in excellent condition
