Description: This is a highly sophisticated tobacco canteen both in style and execution.  The canteen is on the large side for tobacco. It may have been used for something else.  The body is sleek and slender and the original copper chain still attaches the cap to the body.  The perimeter of the body is etched all the way around, as is the perimeter of the top and bottom of the cap and the loops on the body.  These added details are rare and show the finesse given to this piece. The patina is full of life with gradations of the natural, copper color.

Condition:  Condition is original without restoration.
