This is an unusual and rare Blackfoot beaded flat bag. The beads are thread sewn and include light blue, deep blue, pink, translucent green and red with white hearts. The entire bag is trimmed with pink beads in a lattice format. Beaded rectangles line the top, as a part of the flap, and the bottom, as part of the bag. Between the rectangles are four rows of stepped diamonds alternating between two varied color palates. The beads are all sewn onto fabric that closely relates to velvet. The outside back portion is the same deep, blue, fabric. The bag has a white, metal bar that is sewn on as the mechanism to hang it.
