Classic Pair of Silver Comanche Drop Earrings

Comanche

late 19th to early 20th Century | Silver | Item 2637

This classic and elegant pair of Comanche earrings is 7 5/8″ long. From the ear piercing portion drop three, connected half orbs. These orbs have cut marks going around them, like sun rays. From here hangs a cut out triangle with dashes (rocker engraving) creating a border just inside its edge. Two holes at the bottom corners provide for two drops of four, elongated rectangles with two half orbs and ending with an arrow. The rectangles have dashes bordering the edge. The arrows have fine rocker engraving applied along the two, long, edges. These are so amazing that I’m thinking of getting my ears pierced!
