Description: This rare and early mirror has a wonderful sense of age and use. It is painted and has small square nails as the joinery.  There is a serrated top and a diamond shaped handle that ends in a hole for hanging or suspension.  The surface has not been touched and is in original condition.  Never have I seen such a mirror so early, so simple and so beautiful in its patina.  I like to think about all the faces that have looked into its frame…
