Early Pair of Navajo or Pueblo Earrings, Circa 1890

Navajo or Pueblo

Silver | Item 1995

It’s rare to find these circular earrings. One has 12 punched holes. the other 13, although this is not obvious to the eye. Between the punched hole and the semi-circular edge are arched file stamped marks making for a fine detail. The reverse side is plain with no stamping. The earrings would be worn by gently spreading the ends to squeeze onto the ear lobe.
