Hopi Clay Pipe with Birds, Corn, Rain Clouds

Description: This small Hopi pipe is painted with a long cornstock along the stem. The cornstock ends with a rain cloud right at the flower stem and then two birds, one on each side of the flower.   The birds are flying right into the center for the floret. The two sides of the pipe bowl have a raincloud and on one side what might be a rainbow over the cloud.  The very front of the bowl has an eight sided star.

Condition: Excellent condition with scuffs and same pitting on the surface that may be original to the firing.
