This is a large and beautifully formed Cochiti drum, 24″ tall. The cottonwood has been hollowed out with hide top and bottom and hide strips criss-crossing the painted surface to connect everything. The drum is painted black, yellow and light blue. The shape of the drum is perfectly tapered from each end towards a wider center. The drum is in excellent condition and makes a great sounds when played.
