Early, original ledger paper being used as the backdrop for James’ drawing of the backside of three warriors set for either dance or battle. The ledger paper has dates from 1877 to 1881. This is an original work and not a print. The final photo shows the backside of this ledger with much writing. James Black is a full blooded Southern Cheyenne artist living in Santa Fe, NM.
