Description: This is a delightful child’s blanket with all sort of classic Navajo elements. The background is all red, in two different tones with the center being a red with more blue in it and the other reds, with more yellow. The structure of the design is set up with three stacked diamonds in the center, all with a zig zag eye dazzler type border. In the center are three stacked series of trapezoids all alternating in color from black to white, and in the center, from black to yellow. The central stacked diamonds are flanked on each side with more stacked diamonds, but in reverse with the borders. The long edges have another three stacked diamonds, but only room here for half. If the blanket were to wrap around long says, then the side diamonds would complete themselves. The stacked, floating small trapezoids are organized to be floating the the center of the diamonds. Interesting to note that the trim on interior zig zag edges is yellow, giving the whole blanket more vitality.
