This is one of the earliest and most elaborate Navajo velvet blouses that I have seen. There are 12 pesos, 196 small conchos, 9 medium small conchos, 1 large concho (pocket), 2, small elaborate conchos, 2 large butterfly conchos and 2 medium butterfly conchos. The shirt dates between 1925 and 1940. The later date is based on adding items over time, such as the pesos along the button line. This blouse comes with the mannequin shown.
