Navajo Silver Ketoh with Snakes
Navajo
Silver, Commercial Hide | Item 2600
This is a rare and unusual Navajo ketoh. The center has a prominent flower in repousse flanked above and below with rattlesnakes in movement. The snakes have diamond patterns on them, much of which has worn off from wear, and a segmented tail. The surface is further embellished with multiple stamp patterns including arrows. The border is fully stamped with linked triangles. The ketoh has a commercial hide wrist bracelet for wearing. There are two layers here, the first holding the ketoh and the second providing the buckle. This ketoh comes with a stand.
