This is a beautiful and simply stated Nez Perce or Plateau beaded belt bag. A multi-bordered heart is at the center of a light blue beaded background. The center of the heart is yellow, followed by a pink border, then a deep blue border and finally a dashed yellow and red with white hearts border. The bag is trimmed around the egde on three sides with yellow and deep blue beads. The top has red cloth, or stroud. The beaded flap opens to access the bag within, all in commercial hide. The back is also commercial hide, with an extra piece to hold the belt. These sorts of bags are used to carry all kinds of personal items, none of which are specific to this bag. This is a special and unique belt bag, and shows a bold and attractive design.
