Dimensions: 1.75″ long, just under 1″ diameter

Description: This pair of beaded cylinders was used to tie back the hair for a plains indian.  The bead colors are light blue, dark blue, mustard yellow, red with white hearts, white and soft pink – all considered to be early beads used on the frontier.  The glass beads are sinew sewn onto a hide which is then set onto a commercial leather base.

 

Condition:   A small amount of bead loss.
