Pair of Comanche Silver Drop Earrings

This pair of late 19th century silver earrings has two drops coming off of the initial, triangular piece. The look is classic Southern Plains Comanche. Each drop has three parts, with the bottom part being an arrow point. Each of the pieces is finely outlined with rockery engraving. The backside has no engraving. The earrings are attached to a wire hook for a pierced ear.

Condition Very good with strong patina
Provenance Private collection in Albuquerque, NM, collected out of Oklahoma sometime between 1960 and the late 1970s.
