Plains or Navajo Pair of Silver Earrings Rocker engraved

Navajo or Plains

Late 19th Century | Silver | Item 1994

I’ve seen this type of round earrings with the same latching system with Navajo stamping. The rocker engraving on this pair could be Navajo, but it could also place these into a Plains group. Much of the jewelry out of this collection came out of Comanche, so this is a tribe to consider. The elegant simplicity makes these a desirable pair.
