Pueblo Drum Painted Both Ends, Circa 1930

We believe this to be a Pueblo drum, but it has characteristics that might make it from a different Native group. The base of the drum is metal painted black and covered on both ends with hide laced together with hide strips to link up all the parts. One end is painted with a Native man wearing a feathered headdress. The other end is painted with a 5 pointed star and in the center is a red sun and a blue moon within a circle. The drum is in excellent condition and makes a wonderful and deep sound.
