Pueblo, Painted Bird Once on a Stick

Pueblo

This carved, wood bird was likely used on the end of a stick for dancing and or celebration, or possibly as a toy for a child. The patina is wonderful and shows good age. Layers of paint are apparent, from deep red to deep green.
