Beaded hide quirt, possibly Crow, made of elk antler with a braided hide whip. The beadwork is done on black stroud, outlined in white with a border of red silk or fine cotton. The beadwork drop is inserted through a hole at the end of the horn. The wide end of the horn has a beautifully braided hide whip graduating down to a fine size. This quirt comes with the stand. It dates to around 1880.
