Last quarter 19th century | Item 2029
This sweet bag is trimmed at the top with deep red white hearts, white and blue glass beads. The bag has a hide handle lined with clear tubular glass breads. There are two side drops on each side with quill work and a tin cone on each end. The body of the bag is trimmed on one side and the base with purple dyed quill. The body, both front and back, is divided into 11 rows of quill work. The bottom has hide slats 2″ long all wrapped in quill. The bag must have been displayed a long time in a case, as one side is much more faded.
