This is a lovely and early Spanish Colonial chair with nice embellishments. There are 3 turned spindles reaching from the top backrest with a sun carved to the bottom rail which is chip carved. The construction is mortis and tenon with the seat attached by wrought iron, heavy nails. There are 4 turned rails supporting the four legs. Some gentle work has been done on the leg joints to better stabilize it.

Dimensions 36.5" tall, 17.25" wide, seat at 16.5"
Condition Good with obvious wear, sits sturdy. Some leg joints strengthened.
