Spanish Colonial, Mexican Bolo Sword, Horn Handle

This Spanish Colonial Bolo sword has a horn handle with the top shaped into an eagle head. Four rivets attached the handle to the steel blade. At the top of the blade, on one side, is a stamp embossed with two letters, only the second letter being clear with that being an “A”. The blade widens towards the center like a long spatula.
