This is a vibrant, expressionist watercolor on paper by Chase Varney (signed lower right corner). It is not titled, but is a landscape scene of a small village adjacent to the mountains. Mr. Varney was based out of Pueblo, Colorado and continued to be active in the arts community of Colorado Springs and Pueblo until his death in 1980.
