Item #: 698
Origin: Spanish Colonial, New Mexican
Date: 18th to early 19th Century
Dimensions: 20.25″ tall, 10.15″ x .35″
Description: This cross came out of the Larry Frank collection. There are remnants of either corn husk or straw, especially seen on the lower segment. The fancy detail and extra cuts may suggest that this was used for a church and not for the home. The patina is heavy and rich.
