Description: The single Navajo dress panel is woven of fine brown and indigo dyed handspun wool as well as very fine raveled bayeta that is worsted and is dyed with 60-70% lac and 30-40% cochineal. Tests were done by David Wenger. The panel has an old inventory number assigned by George Gustav Heye and was deaccessioned from his collection likely in the 1960s.
