Date: Circa 1930
Media: Silver, turquoise
Dimensions: ring size 8.5
Description: This ring has no maker’s mark and shows good age from years of wearing. The arrangement of the 9 pieces of sky blue to green turquoise is particularly beautiful. Most effective is the central vertical stone, set next to the 6 horizontal stones which are then framed on each side by two more vertical stones. The inlay setting is framed at the top and bottom with a thin shelf, stamped with very fine file marks.
Condition: Condition is very good with surface wear. A few of the stones have small chips and there may well be small cracks which are hard to tell if the cracks are the aberrations within the stone. The stones are all set well with no movement or looseness. There is a slight indent to the side face of the ring, visible in the 4th photo.
